There musical influence comes from there fathers. Bassline's father was the radio announcer for a Caribbean show who now works at CBC and Marly Marl's father is DJ pioneer DJ BAD LAD. D'Enforcas have performed all across Canada, The United States, Europe and The Caribbean, playing alongside some of the biggest names in soca music: Machel Montano + Xtatik, Square One, Rupee, Krosfyah, Iwer George, Maximus Dan, Shurwayne Winchester & Traffik, Charlie's Roots, Bunji Garland, Chinese Laundry...too many to name. D'Enforcas have also opened for hip hop, r&b & dancehall acts such as: Lauren Hill, Destiny's Child, Buju Banton, Jadakiss, Jahiem, Mobb Deep, Slum Village, Ideal, Doug E. Fresh, Bilal, Wu -Tang, Young Bloodz, Hi-Tek and Avant. In addition, they play at some of the hottest events in Toronto each and every week. For example: Vince Carter's Birthday Party, Bassline and Morris Peterson's Birthday Collaboration, The 112/Jagged Edge Party, DMX's Quadrupile platinum party, Shaquille O'Neal's Victory Bash, the Hype Williams/Little X party and the Flipmode Squad Party. D'Enforcas have also made media appearences on Much Music (Da Mix, Down Lo), CHIN, CKUT, CHRY, CIUT, WBLK, CJAM, CKLN and frequently on Flow 93.5.
